Privacy policy

Summary

Desfundo does not collect, store on servers or transmit your personal data or your images. All processing happens on your computer.

The Desfundo app

• Images: the photos and PDFs you open are processed only on your computer. No image is ever sent to the internet, not even to us.
• Network: the app makes no network connections while in use. The AI model ships inside the app, and it works offline. The only exception is the "Check for updates" button in the portable version: only when you click it, the app asks GitHub for the latest version number, without sending any of your data. Links you click (website, donations, source code) open in your browser.
• Local storage: to save memory, results being processed may be stored temporarily in the app’s internal storage on your own computer. This data is cleared the next time the app is opened. Your language choice (PT/EN) is also saved locally.
• No account, no analytics: there is no sign-up, no ads, no telemetry and no tracking.

This website

• The website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools.
• The video tutorial is hosted on YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). It only loads if you click it; from then on, Google's privacy policy applies.
• It is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical access data (such as IP addresses) under the GitHub privacy statement.
• To show the download count, your browser queries the public GitHub API.
• The website’s language choice is stored only in your browser.

Donations

Donations via Pix, PayPal or GitHub Sponsors are processed by those services under their own policies. Desfundo does not receive or store payment data.
